We're getting great results using Marino's Sweet Fish Brew as a drench. We already do a big feed two or three times a year, and this has become our extra kick, kind of a tonic in between feeds. We water the plants, squeeze it on with a squeeze bottle, and water it in. We use it almost every time we water for plants in pots, since potting soil loses its nutrients quickly, and very frequently in the garden beds too. It seems to help with disease resistance too. The leaves are really shiny, that natural kind of healthy shine, and we're not having to spray as much oil to fight disease anymore.

Which product do I need?
Wool Pellets are worked into soil at planting and feed gradually for months, ideal as a base feed for beds and containers. Sweet Fish Brew is a liquid you apply every few weeks for a quicker boost to soil biology. Many gardeners use both.
Does Sweet Fish Brew smell?
It has a scent, since it's fermented fish. Because it's cold-fermented rather than heat-processed like typical fish emulsions, the smell is milder and more yeasty than sharp, and it fades after application. Wool Pellets have essentially no odor.
Are these safe around kids, pets, and edible plants?
Yes. Both are made from natural, California-sourced materials, wool and fish byproducts, and are suitable for vegetable gardens, fruit trees, herbs, and other edible crops. Follow the application rates on each product's label.
How much do I need?
Wool Pellets: about ½ to 1 cup per gallon of soil, or sprinkled generously around established plants. Sweet Fish Brew: 1.5 tablespoons per gallon of water, applied every 2 to 4 weeks.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship throughout the United States. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. The 5 Gallon Sweet Fish Brew is local pickup only.
How should I store them?
Keep both in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep Sweet Fish Brew's container sealed when not in use. Both are shelf-stable, and perform best when used within the growing season after opening.
